Protect Medical Acquires Emergency Medicine Products Supplier X-Cen-Tek (PAX)
Majority-owned by Borromin Capital Management, Protect Medical (€38.6 million of revenue in 2021, Hesse / DEU), a holding company for manufacturers and suppliers of products for wound care, first aid and emergency medicine, acquires X-Cen-Tek (PAX) (Lower Saxony / DEU), a supplier of products for emergency medicine, such as backpacks and emergency bags. The acquisition will enable Protect Medical to expand its product and service offerings and strengthen its market position.

B2B Saas Company dScribe Raises €1.5 Million
dScribe (Flemish Region / BEL), a metadata management company that provides a powerful data search, analysis and reporting engine for businesses, raises €1.5 million in a seed round led by PMV and Angelwise, with participation from existing investors imec.istart and Ventures by delaware. The new resources obtained through this fundraising will allow dScribe to expand its customer base in Belgium and to focus on conquering an international market.

Wise Equity Sells Race Car Manufacturer Tatuus
TEC Racing (Occitanie / FRA), a company specialized in hydraulic and electrical connectors for vintage and modern cars, has acquired Tatuus (c. €40 million of revenue in 2022, Lombardy / ITA), a racing car manufacturer, from Wise Equity. As a reminder, Wise Equity, through Wisequity IV, entered into the shareholding of the company in 2017.

LightBay Fund II Reaches its $1.4 Billion Hard Cap
LightBay Capital announces that LightBay Fund II has exceeded its $800 million target size by reaching a hard cap of $1.4 billion. LightBay Fund II will continue LightBay Capital’s strategy of partnering with technology, healthcare information technology (HCIT) and consumer services companies.
