Arterex Acquires Medical Device Manufacturer NextPhase
Majority-owned by Investindustrial, Arterex (California / USA), a provider of diversified, high-precision manufacturing solutions for the medical device, healthcare, and life sciences industries, acquires NextPhase Medical Devices (Massachusetts / USA), a manufacturer of complex electromechanical medical devices and single-use disposable medical devices. The acquisition of NextPhase will enable Arterex to double in size and become a leading global subcontractor in the field of medical devices, with 70% of its revenue generated in the United States.

FNB Private Equity acquires 100% of Cafés Legal (Île-de-France / FRA), producer and distributor of organic coffees in various forms. This is the first acquisition made by FNB Private Equity’s fund, FnB Europe Fund II SP.

ICIG Acquires Distributor of Hydrocarbon-based Specialty Products HCS Group
International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG) (District of Luxembourg / LUX), a group of companies operating in the fields of chemistry and industry, acquires HCS Group (c. €330 million of revenue in 2021, Hesse / DEU), an international company specializing in the production and distribution of specialty products based on hydrocarbons and solvents. The acquisition was made from HCS Group’s shareholders, including H.I.G. Capital, which has backed the company since 2013.

TA Associates Raises $16.5 Billion for its Fund TA XV
TA Associates Management raised $16.5 billion for its TA XV fund, surpassing its original target as well as the size of its predecessor, TA XIV, which closed in June 2021 at its hard cap of $12.5 billion. TA XV will be invested in high value-added companies operating in the technology, healthcare, financial services, consumer services and business services sectors.
