Thoma Bravo Completes Acquisition of Identity Management Software Developer ForgeRock
Thoma Bravo has completed the acquisition of ForgeRock ($217 million of revenue in 2022, California / USA), a company that develops various open source security and identity management software solutions for enterprises and government organizations. Thoma Bravo purchased the company for $2.3 billion, offering shareholders $23.25 for each share of Class A and Class B common stock. Thoma Bravo plans to merge ForgeRock with Ping Identity ($299 million of revenue in 2022, Colorado / USA), another company in its portfolio that develops identity and access management software. ForgeRock investors included KKR, Accel, Foundation Capital, Meritech Capital and Riverwood Capital.

PAI Partners Acquires Pet Food Manufacturer Alphia
PAI Partners announces the acquisition of Alphia (Colorado, USA), a group specializing in the manufacture of pet foods and treats. This acquisition demonstrates, once again, PAI Partners’ interest in the food and consumer sector. PAI Partners will support Alphia in accelerating its growth in North America, both organically and through acquisitions.

Exponent Sells Significant Stake in Meadow Foods
Exponent Private Equity announces the sale of a significant stake in Meadow Foods (c. £450 million of revenue in 2022, North West / ENG), a producer of sustainable dairy products, confectionery and plant-based ingredients for largest food manufacturers in the world. The stake was sold to Fairfax Financial (Ontario / CAN), a holding company which, through its subsidiaries, is mainly engaged in property and casualty insurance and reinsurance. After the transaction, Exponent and the founding family of Meadow Foods will continue to own an equity stake in the company. As a reminder, in 2018, Exponent, accompanied by Harbourvest Partners, had acquired a majority stake in the company.

VIA Equity announces the first closing of its VIA equity Fund V at DKK1.475 billion (€200 million). The major investors of VIA equity Fund IV have continued their cooperation with VIA Equity by participating in the subscription of this new fund.
