Faircap Sells Electrical Equipment Distributor The Exprotec Group to Tiefenbach Control Systems

Faircap announces the sale of The Exprotec Group (North Rhine-Westphalia / DEU), a company which designs, manufactures and distributes electrical equipment intended for use in areas exposed to explosions. The Exprotec Group is taken over by Tiefenbach Control Systems (€27.1 million of revenue in 2022, North Rhine-Westphalia / DEU), a developer and manufacturer of resilient electrohydraulic systems, sensors and control software for mechanical and industrial engineering in the mining, offshore and industrial sectors, which is majority-backed by Family Trust Investor. As a reminder, Faircap had been majority shareholder of The Exprotec Group since 2021.

CAPZA and Bpifrance Invest in Medical Imaging Specialist IMDEV

CAPZA (via its Flex Equity Mid-Market II fund) and Bpifrance have made minority investment in IMDEV (Île-de-France / FRA), a group which provides medical imaging services through its imaging platforms located in hospitals, medical imaging practices and public and private medical practices. CAPZA and Bpifrance will support IMDEV in its continued development through organic growth and via an ambitious and targeted acquisition strategy.

Epiris Announces the Final Closing of Epiris Fund III at Over £1 Billion

Epiris announces the final closing of Epiris Fund III at £1.044 billion, exceeding its target size of £850 million and the size of its predecessor Epiris Fund II, which closed at £821 million. Epiris Fund III will continue to invest in promoting the transformation of UK and international businesses, valued between £75 and £500 million, by providing between £40 and £150 million of equity for each investment. To date, Epiris Fund III has already been deployed at over 20% in four investments.

Fortino Capital Sells SaaS Product Provider for the Hospitality Sector Stardekk

Fortino Capital sells its stake in Stardekk (Flemish Region / BEL), a company that provides SaaS products to hotel customers to simplify and automate hotel management to create the perfect customer experience, from online search to after check-out. Stardekk has been acquired by Lighthouse (ex OTA Insight) (£22.8 million of revenue in 2021, London / ENG), a developer of cloud-based business intelligence software solutions for the hospitality industry. This transaction will enable the two companies to combine their best-in-class services and strengthen their competitiveness on the market.
