BuildTec Software Acquires Software Provider Acies
Majority-owned by Bregal Unternehmerkapital and backed by Via Equity, BuildTec Software (Bavaria / DEU), a group of software and service providers in the fields of building construction, wood joinery, electrical installations and crafts, acquires a majority stake in Acies (Central Denmark Region / DNK), a provider of sales and production management software for kitchen, door and window manufacturers, helping them to streamline their order management and production processes. With this partnership, BuildTec Software and Acies will expand their geographical presence in Denmark and their software portfolio in the construction sector.

Buyers Edge Platform Reorganizes its Shareholding
Buyers Edge Platform (Massachusetts / USA), a cloud-based platform that allows operators, manufacturers and distributors in the foodservice sector to instantly access real-time information on their products, prices and profitability,, has secured a $425 million preferred equity investment led by Atlantic Park of General Atlantic Credit, with participation from Blackstone Tactical Opportunities and Morgan Stanley Tactical Value. This injection of funds will enable the company to support its growth initiatives, particularly in terms of innovation and strategic mergers & acquisitions. As part of this transaction, Bregal Sagemount will divest its minority stake acquired in 2019, while John Davie, founder and CEO, will increase its majority stake.

INVL Asset Management announces the launch of INVL Private Equity Fund II. This fund, which targets a target size of €250 million and a hard cap of €400 million, will invest in companies in the Baltic countries, Poland and neighboring countries.

Kirk Kapital and Nalka Invest Acquire Data Collection Specialist Norstat
Kirk Kapital and Nalka Invest acquire from Triton Advisers Norstat (c. NOK 1 billion of revenue in 2023, Eastern Norway / NOR), a data collector offering services to professional users of market research. Following the acquisition, Norstat’s management and board of directors will remain shareholders of Norstat, while Nalka will become the majority shareholder and Kirk Kapital a minority shareholder holding 28% of the capital. The acquisition was made from Triton Advisers, Norstat’s majority shareholder since 2019.
