HC Companies Acquires Decorative Garden Products Supplier Classic Home & Garden
Backed by Platinum Equity, HC Companies (Ohio / USA), a manufacturer of innovative containers and horticultural accessories for the greenhouse, nursery, and retail markets, acquires Classic Home & Garden (CHG) (Connecticut / USA ), a company that designs, supplies and sells decorative garden pots and other garden and lawn decoration products. With this acquisition, HC Companies will expand its product offering for horticultural growers, retailers and distributors.

Fire Safety Services Provider Efectis Welcomes Minority Investors
The France Nucléaire Fund, managed by Siparex, and Bpifrance acquire a minority stake in Efectis (c. €40 million of revenue in 2023, Île-de-France / FRA), a fire and explosion safety specialist offering testing, modeling, certification, training, product and fire risk analysis services for a wide range of industries, including nuclear and power plants, infrastructure, building materials, commercial and high-rise buildings, public buildings, storage and warehousing buildings, and the oil and gas industry. CTICM (Centre Technique des Industries de la Construction Métallique), which created Efectis in 2006 with the Dutch applied scientific research organization TNO, remains Efectis’ reference shareholder.

Maven Capital Partners Sells its Stake in Open Banking Platform Provider, AperiData
Maven Capital Partners announces the sale of its stake in AperiData (North West / ENG), a provider of Open Banking platform that make credit assessments faster and more accurate for consumers and financial institutions. After having been supported by Maven since 2023, AperiData enters into partnership with PayPoint (£167.7 million of revenue in 2022, London / ENG), a provider of secure multi-channel payment services for businesses, via mobile and online platforms.

Mentha Launches Mentha Impact Fund I
Mentha Capital announces the launch of its first impact buy-out fund, Mentha Impact Fund I. Having already raised €100 million, the fund is aiming for a target size of €140 million, and will invest in SMEs with sales between €5 and €100 million whose activities produce significant and measurable results in terms of climate and environmental impact, which are combined with financial returns.
