Haudecoeur Acquires Herbs and Spices Supplier Cepasco
Majority-owned by Apheon and backed by Eurazeo and Cerea Partners, Haudecoeur (€199 million of revenue in 2021, Île-de-France / FRA), a company specializing in the import, production and distribution of food products, acquires Cepasco (€25 million of revenue in 2022, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur / FRA), a company specializing in the production and distribution of spices, herbs, spice blends and other aromatic ingredients. Thanks to this transaction, Haudecoeur strengthens its position in the European herbs and spices market and expands its product range. As part of the transaction, Evoco, Cepasco’s majority shareholder since 2022, has sold its stake.

Piper Invests in Cultural Tour Operator Martin Randall Travel
Through Piper Private Equity VII, Piper Private Equity has invested in Martin Randall Travel (£13.8 million of revenue in 2023, London / ENG), a cultural tour operator focusing on art, architecture, music, history and gastronomy, offering small group tours, festivals and short events led by expert speakers in approximately forty countries. Piper will support the company in strengthening its position as a leader in small group arts travel and in promoting its brand in the UK, US and Australia.

PRIMEPULSE announces the acquisition of a majority stake in Samhammer (Bavaria / DEU), a provider of AI-powered customer services to improve customer support services of medium-sized companies by combining human expertise with AI tools. With the support of PRIMEPULSE, Samhammer aims to become the leading European provider of AI-powered services.

Vossloh Acquires Concrete Railway Sleeper Manufacturer Sateba
Vossloh (€1.2 billion of revenue in 2023, North Rhine-Westphalia / DEU), a company specializing in railway infrastructures, announces the signature of an agreement to acquire Sateba (€350 million of revenue in 2023, Île-de-France / FRA), a company that designs and manufactures precast concrete products for railway infrastructures. This acquisition, valued at around €450 million, is designed to broaden Vossloh’s portfolio in Europe and strengthen its expertise in rail infrastructures, in order to achieve annual revenue of more than €500 million in its Tie Technologies business unit. As a reminder, since 2021, Sateba had been owned by TowerBrook Capital Partners.
