Add-on: Visma Acquires Corporate Expense Management Software MobileXpense

Backed by Hg, TPG Capital, General Atlantic, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Warburg Pincus, AIMCo Private Equity and other investors, Visma (NOK27.3 billion of revenue in 2023, Eastern Norway / NOR), a group of companies specializing in the development and delivery of cloud software for small, medium and large enterprises, as well as the public sector, whose solutions cover various areas essential to business management, including financial management, human resources and payroll, ERP and expense management, acquires MobileXpense (€16.7 million of revenue in 2023, Brussels-Capital Region / BEL), a SaaS expense management software solution that enables CFOs, finance teams and human resources to manage corporate expense costs in a smart, simple and transparent way. This acquisition will complement Visma’s HR and payroll offerings. Note that since 2017, MobileXpense had been owned by Fortino Capital.

Acquisition: UNEXO Invests in Clothing Manufacturer and Distributor Armor-lux

Backed by Crédit Agricole du Finistère, UNEXO acquires a minority stake in Armor-lux (€119 million of revenue in 2023, Bretagne / FRA), a company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of clothing inspired by the marine world, such as the sailor’s shirt, the pea coat and the sailor’s sweater, as well as professional clothing. Thanks to UNEXO’s investment, Armor-lux aims to expand its distribution network, strengthen its presence in the professional clothing market and develop its CSR strategy, while preserving its industrial expertise and regional impact in Bretagne.

Acquisition: SHS Capital Invests in Medical Technology Company Medizintechnik Rostock

SHS Capital, through SHS VI, acquires a majority stake in Medizintechnik Rostock (MTR) (Berlin / DEU), a medical technology company specializing in the supply of home-use devices for electrotherapy, movement therapy and compression therapy. By leveraging SHS Capital’s expertise and network in the healthcare sector, Medizintechnik Rostock aims to accelerate its growth and national expansion, while improving the accessibility of its therapy devices across Germany.

Egeria Capital Management

Exit: Egeria Sells Pre-insulated Pipe Manufacturer ISOPLUS

Egeria Capital Management announces the sale of ISOPLUS (c. €450 million of revenue in 2023, Thuringia / DEU), a company specializing in the manufacture of pre-insulated piping systems, mainly for district heating and cooling networks and comprising rigid and flexible pipes, network monitoring systems, as well as accessories such as valves and connection technologies. The company has passed into the hands of Viessmann Generations Group (c. €4 billion of revenue in 2023, Hesse / DEU), a company specializing in the manufacture and installation of a wide range of heating and refrigeration systems, which, thanks to this acquisition, will be able to strengthen its offer of sustainable solutions for heat distribution. As a reminder, Egeria acquired ISOPLUS in 2022.
