Exit: Kirk Kapital Sells Container Equipment Supplier TPS Rental Systems
Kirk Capital announces the sale of its minority stake in TPS Rental Systems (£24.6 million of revenue in 2023, West Midlands / ENG), a provider of packaging solutions, specializing in IBC (Intermediate Bulk Containers), bag-in-box bags, container accessories, as well as filling and emptying equipment. The company was acquired by HB RTS (Utrecht / NLD), an integrated logistics services provider for reusable transport items. As a reminder, Kirk Kapital supported TPS Rental Systems since 2018 and helped it acquire a strong position on the European market.

Fundraising: Maven Launches Maven Cognition EIS Fund
Maven Capital Partners, through its subsidiary Maven Cognition, launches the Maven Cognition EIS Fund, dedicated to investing in small, dynamic UK companies active in innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and quantum computing. The fund is open to a minimum subscription of £25,000 and targets a 3x return for its investors. The launch follows Maven’s recent acquisition of Newable Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in EIS funds.

CAPZA arranges a unitranche debt to refinance Primed (Saxony-Anhalt / DEU), a company specializing in the development, production and distribution of medical devices, offering a diverse range of products, including products for tracheostomy and laryngectomy, wound drainage and surgery, stool management, thoracic surgery, suction and irrigation systems, and radiotherapy. This new credit line will enable the company to expand its existing product range, develop new offerings and pursue strategic growth opportunities.
