Add-on: Opterm Acquires Insulation Specialist SIIN

Majority-owned by Sparring Capital, Opterm (c. €45 million of revenue in 2024, Hauts-de-France / FRA), a group operating in the fields of technical insulation, scaffolding, electrical tracing, insulation, maintenance contracts and energy saving certificates, acquires Société Industrielle d’Isolation du Nord (SIIN) (€4 million of revenue in 2024, Hauts-de-France / FRA), a company specializing in industrial and building thermal insulation work. With this acquisition, Opterm strengthens its presence in Hauts-de-France and completes its services for tertiary and industrial customers.

Acquisition: Quadrivio Acquires Spirometer and Oximeter Manufacturer MIR

Via Silver Economy Fund, Quadrivio acquires a majority stake in Medical International Research (MIR) (€22 million of revenue in 2024, Lazio / ITA), a company specializing in the design and production of high-quality medical equipment, including spirometers and oximeters, for professional and personal use for the management and prevention of respiratory diseases. Quadrivio was supported by several co-investors, including Turenne Santé, Eurazeo, BNP Paribas BNL Equity Investments, Entheos S.A.S. and Muzinich & Co. This strategic investment aims to accelerate MIR’s expansion into other strategic markets while consolidating its position in its current markets. Strategic acquisitions are also envisaged. The company was acquired from Aksia Group, its majority shareholder since 2021.

Acquisition: Out-of-home Delivery Company Kanguro Raises €2 Million

Suma Capital, Sego Finance and Ona Capital are participating in a €2 million round of financing for Kanguro (Catalonia / ESP), a company specialized in out-of-home delivery solutions, offering practical, sustainable and efficient services for receiving and sending parcels, thanks to physical locations, usually shops, where couriers drop off parcels and where customers can pick them up at their convenience, as well as a network of smart lockers enabling a fully autonomous service where delivery drivers and users can drop off and pick up their parcels using their smartphone. The funds raised will be used to launch the company’s activities in Portugal, France and Germany, as well as to strengthen its innovative technology. With this investment, Suma Capital reinforces its commitment to sustainability and innovation in the logistics sector, given that Kanguro’s solutions help reduce CO2 emissions by 46% compared to home deliveries.

Acquisition: AnaCap Financial Partners Acquires Insurance Broker Edge Group

AnaCap Financial Partners announces the acquisition of Edge Group (Lombardy / ITA), a company that designs and implements insurance services and provides tailor-made insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. With the support of AnaCap, Edge aims to accelerate its expansion in the Italian insurance brokerage market, by consolidating its internal resources and attracting broker-entrepreneurs with specific sector expertise. This is the second acquisition made in Italy by AnaCap, following the acquisition in April 2024 of YARD REAAS (€38.7 million of revenue in 2022, Lombardy / ITA), a group that offers a wide range of services dedicated to the real estate sector.
