Add-on: Leeflang Poedercoating Joins Electric Bike Manufacturer Optima Cycles

Backed by Bolster Investment Partners, Optima Cycles (€74 million of revenue in 2022, North Holland / NLD), a company which manufactures and distributes high-quality electric bicycles under the Dutch ID and Lovens brands, has acquired Leeflang Poedercoating (South Holland / NLD), a company specializing in the powder coating of bicycle frames and components, as well as steel doors, door handles, table legs and much more. Optima thus reinforces the quality and flexibility of its products by integrating this powder coating expertise into its production process for electric and cargo bikes. Following this transaction, Leeflang will now operate under the name Optima Cycles Coating.

Add-on: TAKOMA Acquires Civil Service Training Organization Excellens Formation

Majority-owned by UI Investissement and supported by Esfin Gestion, TAKOMA (c. €20 million of revenue in 2022, Île-de-France / FRA), a company specializing in the creation of personalized training content in the fields of digital learning, marketing and communication, information management and on-site training, acquires Excellens Formation (€5 million of revenue in 2024, Île-de-France / FRA), a professional training organization serving civil service personnel and associative organizations. This merger will allow TAKOMA to strengthen its presence in the civil service training market and expand its offering with the digital learning expertise of Excellens Formation.

Exit: Mimir Invest Sells Safety and Laminated Glass Producer Si-Glass

Mimir Invest announces the sale of Si-Glass (Western Norway / NOR), a company specializing in the production of tempered and laminated safety glass for the construction, industrial, marine and offshore sectors, to Beslagsspecialisten (Western Norway / NOR), a company specializing in the supply of hardware, including screws, bolts, building accessories and domestic plumbing equipment. Under Mimir’s leadership since 2020, Si-Glass has strengthened its market position, improved its operations and enriched its customer offering. This sale will transform the company and prepare it for a new phase of growth.
