Owned by Inflexion Private Equity, Detectortesters (£25 million of revenue in 2023, East of England / ENG), a company specializing in the design and manufacture of test solutions for fire detection systems, announces the acquisition of Global Vision Inc. (GVI) (Minnesota / USA), a company specializing in test technologies for fire pumps. This latest acquisition will strengthen Detectortesters’ position in the field of fire protection equipment testing and measurement, following the acquisition, in May 2024, of The Hose Monster Company (Illinois / USA), a manufacturer of flow testing equipment for water-based fire protection systems.

Part of the portfolios of Bpifrance Investissement, Crédit Mutuel Equity, Tikehau Capital, TowerBrook Capital Partners, RAISE and CAPZA, EPSA (c. €500 million of revenue in 2024, Île-de-France / FRA), a group specializing in optimizing the financial, operational and environmental performance of companies, acquires Energiency (Bretagne / FRA), a software platform dedicated to analyzing industrial energy performance. The move under the aegis of EPSA is a major step in the growth of Energiency, which will remain an independent entity with its own team and SaaS strategy. As a reminder, prior to this transaction, Energiency was backed by several investors, including ISAI, Arkéa Capital, Go Capital and 50 Partners.

Novo Holdings invests in Biocomposites (€43.1 million of revenue in 2023, North-East / ENG), a company specializing in the development and distribution of calcium compounds for surgical use as well as polymer products that promote bone regeneration and reduce the risk of infection in various specialties, including musculoskeletal infections, trauma, sports injuries and other areas of orthopedics. As part of this agreement, TA Associates, majority shareholder since 2017, reinvests alongside Novo Holdings and the Biocomposites management team. This transaction represents a major strategic step forward for Biocomposites, enabling it to consolidate its position in the market for innovative biomedical solutions
