Groupe Bruxelles Lambert (GBL) invests alongside CVC Capital Partners to acquire a minority stake with co-control in Rayner Surgical Group (£39.5 million of revenue in 2020, South East / ENG), a medical device company specializing in the design, manufacture, and marketing of ophthalmic solutions, including intraocular lenses and technologies for cataract and refractive surgery. This investment will strengthen Rayner’s financial and strategic capacity, allowing it to accelerate its international growth, continue innovation in intraocular lens technologies, and expand its presence in global markets.
