Olyos acquires the manufacturer of dermo-cosmetic care products Somatoline

Owned by Motion Equity Partners and supported by HarbourVest Partners, LGT Capital Partners, Cerea Partners, LFPI, Caelestys, and Coller Capital, Olyos (c. €160 million of revenue in 2025, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur / FRA), a group specializing in natural health and nutrition that produces and markets dietary supplements, collagen, oligotherapy products, sports nutrition, and natural cosmetics, acquires Somatoline SkinExpert (Lombardy / ITA), a company that manufactures and markets high-performance dermo-cosmetic care products focused on body slimming as well as on the preparation, treatment, and maintenance of the skin. The acquisition of Somatoline allows Olyos to strengthen its presence in Italy. This operation follows the acquisition, last December, of NewScience (Santiago Metropolitan Region (RM) / CHL), a company that develops natural dietary supplements focused on heart health, cognitive functions, digestive well-being, bone health, pregnancy, and infant nutrition, which allowed Olyos to strengthen its presence in Latin America (Motion Equity Partners, press release)

Axcel acquires the fintech company KapitalKontroll

Axcel, through its fund Axcel Elevate I, acquires a majority stake in KapitalKontroll (Eastern Norway / NOR), a company that develops and operates a proprietary digital platform dedicated to the automated management of debt collection, allowing companies to efficiently manage unpaid invoices and collection processes. Waterland Private Equity announces the acquisition of a majority stake in Palletways (€246.1 million of revenue in 2024, West Midlands / ENG), a company specializing in the transportation of palletized goods for businesses across Europe. The space transport company PLD Space raises €180 million

PLD Space (Valencian Community / ESP), a company developing reusable rockets to offer commercial orbital and suborbital access to small satellites, raises €180 million in a Series C funding round led by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, with participation from COFIDES, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, through the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación (CDTI) and its INNVIERTE fund, as well as Nazca Capital via its Nazca Aeroespacial y Defensa INNVIERTE I FCR fund. This fundraising will allow PLD Space to accelerate the development and industrialization of its MIURA 5 orbital launcher, strengthen its industrial and operational capabilities, and support the company’s transition to commercial activities to facilitate access to space for small satellites (Nazca Capital, press release)
