Clessidra Private Equity

Acquisition: Clessidra Acquires Developer of Digitalization Solutions for the Wood Industry MiCROTEC

Via Clessidra Capital Partners IV, Clessidra Private Equity acquires MiCROTEC (c. €100 million of revenue in 2024, Trentino-Alto Adige / ITA), a company that develops digitization and automated inspection solutions for the sawmill and wood processing industries, offering technologies for log digitization, wood processing and plant-wide management to improve wood utilization and resource recovery. The seller, GSS International (Carinthia / AUT), a company specializing in scanning and measurement technology solutions for the wood industry, providing high-precision equipment and services for production optimization, had accompanied MiCROTEC since 1997 as a reference shareholder. Federico Giudiceandrea, the company’s founder, will retain a stake and remain involved in the innovation strategy alongside CEO Frank Jöst and CSO Arianna Giudiceandrea. Backed by a number of co-investors, namely Italmobiliare, ISA-Istituto Atesino di Sviluppo, Botzen Invest Euregio Finance, 035 Investimenti, BNP Paribas BNL Equity Investments, and Narval Investimenti, this transaction is designed to accelerate MiCROTEC’s organic and external growth.

Acquisition: Calculus Capital Invests £2.5 Million in Booking Platform Booked it

Calculus Capital announces a £2.5 million investment in Booked it (London / ENG), a modular booking platform that provides ticketing, reservation, loyalty, and marketing solutions to the leisure, hospitality, tourism, and events sectors. This investment will enable Booked it to accelerate its growth through the development of new products and the expansion of its global presence. The platform intends to capitalize on growing consumer demand for seamless and high-quality booking experiences.

Acquisition: Wallonie Entreprendre Supports the Takeover of Ceremonial Dress Manufacturer TONIC

Wallonie Entreprendre supports the takeover of La boutique TONIC (Walloon Region / BEL), a company that designs and sells a collection of evening dresses, formal dresses, cocktail dresses, wedding dresses, prom dresses, and bridesmaid dresses. Alongside the new owner and CEO, Anne Girin, Wallonie Entreprendre will support TONIC in strengthening its position as a leading provider of formal dresses in Belgium.

Exit: Sherpa Capital and Moventia Group Sell Micromobility Solutions Provider Inurba Mobility

Asset management company VisionEdgeOne (VE1) announces the acquisition of Inurba Mobility (Catalonia / ESP), a company that offers micromobility solutions and bike-sharing services in several cities in Europe and Latin America. The partnership with VE1 will allow Inurba to enter a new phase of expansion and growth, consolidating its leading position in the sector. Inurba’s outgoing shareholders are Sherpa Capital (majority shareholder since 2020) and Moventia Group.
