Exit: Ashwood Designs acquires the British upholstered furniture manufacturer Buoyant Upholstery

Owned by Dunham Massey Investment Group (DMIG), Ashwood Designs (£28.2 million of revenue in 2025, South East / WLS), a manufacturer of upholstered furniture specializing in the design, manufacture, and marketing of sofas, armchairs, modular sofas, recliners, beds, and handmade leather furniture, acquires Buoyant Upholstery (£49.2 million of revenue in 2025, North West / ENG), a manufacturer of upholstered furniture specializing in the design, manufacture, and marketing of sofas, armchairs, sofa beds, and professional furniture, intended for distributors, retailers, and professionals in the hospitality and commercial spaces. The acquisition was made from NVM Private Equity, which thus sells its stake after thirteen years of support, achieving a multiple of 3.3x on its investment. The management team of Buoyant remains in place to support the next phase of the company’s development. This operation creates a leading British player in the manufacture of sofas, by combining the expertise of the two companies to accelerate their growth, expand their product offering, and strengthen their market position (NVM Private Equity, press release)

Exit: VisualLogix acquires the software publisher specialized in digital transformation Refyne

Present in the portfolio of Insight Partners, VisualLogix (New York / USA), a software publisher specializing in engineering software for the development of CAD, simulation, and analysis solutions, offering software dedicated to the design of fire protection systems, fire alarms, metal structures, and other technical infrastructures, acquires Refyne (Hesse / DEU), a software publisher specializing in the digital transformation of the wood and metal construction sectors, offering CAD/CAM, ERP, 3D planning, thermal calculation, and production management solutions, by connecting software, machines, and industrial processes. LEA Partners withdraws from Refyne’s capital after supporting its development. Acquisition: Groupe PLC acquires the dietary supplements manufacturer Floralpina

Owned by Groupe IDI, Groupe PLC (€22 million of revenue in 2023, Brittany / FRA), a company specializing in the manufacture of cosmetic products, liquid dietary supplements, and animal care products, acquires Floralpina (Pays de la Loire / FRA), a company that develops and manufactures dietary supplements for humans and animals, specializing in dry forms such as capsules, tablets, powders, and herbal teas. This merger will allow PLC to diversify its galenic offering and capture a dynamic client portfolio, notably DNVBs, which it will now support with a comprehensive service offering. The new entity thus creates a multi-galenic reference platform, illustrating the active buy-and-build strategy led by IDI to consolidate the European health and wellness market (Groupe IDI, press release)

Add-on: Else Solutions acquires the technical supplier of equipment for radiotherapy and nuclear medicine Radius Tech

Owned by 21 Invest and supported by BNP Paribas BNL Equity Investments and Fondo Italiano d’Investimento, Else Solutions (c. €20 million of revenue in 2024, Lombardy / ITA), a company that designs and manufactures equipment and systems for medical and industrial applications, with a specialization in radiation detection, radiopharmaceutical handling, and radioprotection, developing proprietary instruments, systems, and installations, and offering associated services in nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, and radiodiagnostics, acquires Radius Tech (€17 million of revenue in 2025, Emilia-Romagna / ITA), a company that designs and distributes systems, equipment, and consumables for radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, and preclinical research. The transaction was supported by Banco BPM Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. This acquisition allows Else Solutions to strengthen its position in the medical technology market, expand its offering in radiotherapy and nuclear medicine, generate commercial synergies, and accelerate its international development (21 Invest, press release)
