Micross acquires the electronic engineering company AEMtec
Owned by Behrman Capital, Micross (Florida / USA), a company specializing in the manufacturing, assembly, testing, and supply of high-reliability microelectronic components and solutions for the aerospace, defense, space, medical, and industrial sectors, acquires AEMtec (€27 million of revenue in 2025, Berlin / DEU), an electronic engineering company specializing in the manufacturing of complex microelectronic and optoelectronic modules, as well as miniaturization solutions for the medical, telecommunications, semiconductor, industrial, and aerospace sectors. The operation allows Capiton to sign its exit, after having supported AEMtec through the Capiton V fund since 2018, and then through a continuation fund since 2023. BC Partners invests and acquires an approximately 50% stake in InfoRLife (Eastern Switzerland / CHE), a pharmaceutical subcontracting company (CDMO) specializing in the development and manufacturing of ready-to-use injectable generic drugs packaged in intravenous infusion bags. The acquisition was made from the founder and founding families of ACS Dobfar (€957.4 million of revenue in 2024, Lombardy / ITA), a company that develops and manufactures anti-infective pharmaceutical products, focusing on research, development, and contract manufacturing services, using advanced technologies and maintaining sterile production standards to support a diversified healthcare portfolio. Artá Capital, through Artá Capital Fund III, acquires a majority stake in Magapor (€24 million of revenue in 2025, Aragon / ESP), a company that develops and manufactures specialized products as well as integrated systems for artificial pig reproduction, covering the entire process from boar semen collection to sow insemination. The founders will remain at the head of the company and retain a significant stake. Acquisition: OpenGate Capital acquires the railway air conditioning systems manufacturer Merak
OpenGate Capital announces the signing of a definitive agreement for the acquisition of Merak (Community of Madrid / ESP), a manufacturer of railway air conditioning systems that designs, manufactures, and maintains heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions for all types of railway vehicles, as well as thermal management and energy efficiency systems for rail transport. The acquisition was made from Knorr-Bremse (€7.8 billion of revenue in 2025, Bavaria / DEU), a company specializing in the design, production, and sale of braking systems for railway vehicles and commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, trailers…). This sale is part of Knorr-Bremse’s strategic BOOST program, which aims to refocus the group on its key technologies and sustainably improve the profitability of its Rail division.
